Eight years ago, we met our vendors for the first time when they arrived at our open home at 122 Westmorland Rise. It didn't take them many minutes to realise that this was just the home they had been searching for. From there they pulled out all the stops to prevail over other interest and secure their new home.
"Why this home?" you ask. Sitting proud on its corner site, with ample parking for the utility vehicles, the home offered space aplenty for their young family to spread out in comfort. Superbly located for convenient access to the kids' school, Carmichael Reserve, and all the local shops and amenities, and an easy cruise to town or the Mount, the 'location' box ticked itself off. With four bedrooms AND a home office or rumpus room, there is ample space for guests to sleep over.
The clincher for them, however, was the one-bedroom apartment set off to the far end of the house - perfect for nan to set up her home, and set up home she did.
With mum now settled in a village and the youngsters ready to take flight, our vendors are ready to downsize and make their cherished home available for the next family to enjoy as they have.
